BENJAMIN B., on April 19, 2005, at age 95, of Phila., formerly of King of Prussia, Chesterbrook and Havertown PA. Beloved husband of the late Shirle (nee Schreiber); father of Henry M. and Robert L. Gross; father-in-law of Marilyn and Nancy Gross and grand-father of Arthur. He served as Supply Sgt. for the 15th Port HQs. in England and France during WWII. He was an avid sportsman and an expert swimmer. He played semi-pro football and was a track star and cross country runner. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Rho. He spent 30 years with Henry Gross Co. and was Treasurer of Gross Personnel Co. for 20 years. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday, 2 P.M. precisely, at Mt. Sharon Cem. (Sec. H), Springfield PA. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to U.S. Olympic Committee.
