PITTINSKY
BARBARA (nee Benham), left us suddenly on June 17, 2016. Devoted mother of Alexandra Pittinsky. Sister of Scott (Babette) Benham. Aunt of Scott II and Bryan. Loving companion of Tom Corsanico. A gifted paralegal, Barbara also attended the F.I.T. in New York, and was a talented interior designer who took pride in creating rooms that were as comfortable and inviting as they were elegant. Her natural beauty, great intellectual curiosity and incomparable style always made her a standout in any room. Barbara had a keen interest in politics and had much compassion for those less fortunate. Her strong moral compass, generosity and acceptance of others were an inspiration to all who knew her. Although we have lost the presence of Barbara, we will never lose the memories of her love of literature, art, music, tennis, good food, fine wine and her devotion to family and friends. She was much loved by everyone who had the privilege to be her friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service Thursday, 10 A.M. precisely, at Temple Adath Israel, 250 N. Highland Ave., Merion Station, PA 19066. The family will begin to receive visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Pittinsky starting at 6 P.M. Thursday. Barbara was a softy for anything with a furry and a wagging tail. Contributions in her memory may be made to a no kill animal shelter of your choice.
