Barbara Nancy Ornstein

Barbara Ornstein was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a hard worker who worked at Moore College of art as a secretary to the President of the College for over 18 years.  She was always on the move from traveling, going shopping and going to the movies, but especially going dancing.  Barbara loved dancing of all types (ballroom, tango, salsa, and so many more).  She loved to go the Philadelphia Ballet, the Walnut street theater and the Philly pops. Barbara was a caring and loving daughter to Max and Lorraine and a devoted older sister to Alan and his wife Barbara.   Barbara was truly, not just an aunt, but a godmother to her niece and nephew, Elizabeth (EJ) and Mark as well as their families.  From the time Elizabeth and Mark were born, she was an active presence in their lives.  She took them on trips, gave them swimming lessons, ice skating lessons and even helped them both learn how to drive.   Barbara was a wonderful friend, who committed 100% to everything she was involved with from dancing organizations to senior clubs to political affiliates.  Barbara has touched so many lives and will be truly missed.
