Barbara Hope Matthews (nee Bayer), September 25, 2025. Wife of the late Murray. Mother of the late Jeff Matthews, David Matthews, Steve (Rhonda) Matthews, Ellen Schaeffer, and Fraidel (Avraham) Phelps. Sister of Janice Saur, Stanley (Shelly) Bayer, and Scott Bayer. Grandmother of Chang, Nechama, Devora, Mimi, Shomo, Shoshana, Rikki (Feizy), Chaya Sara (Zach), Mordy, Melissa, Christine (Scott), RJ, Joshua (Alyson), and Aaron (Brianna). Great-grandmother of Bennett, Sawyer, Devora Aidel, and Eliyahu Tzvi. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral services on Sunday at 9:30 AM precisely at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment will follow at King David Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed following services and Monday from 5 – 8 PM at the home of Steve and Rhonda Matthews. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
