Barbara E. Lazar

Barbara E. Lazar (nee Palma), 92, of Warminster, Pennsylvania passed peacefully on September 22, 2026. Daughter of the late Florence and Harry Palma. Sister to the late Jerry and Stephen Palma. Wife of the late Fred Lazar. Mother of Tod Palma and the late Sherri Gendelman. Grandmother of Rachel Gendelman. Aunt of Cindi Palma Parker, Nicole Dewart and Great Aunt to Jaxon.

Born on June 28, 1934, in Philadelphia she remained in the area throughout her life, eventually settling in the suburbs, where she worked for many years as a secretary and devoted herself to raising her two children. She had a lifelong passion for gardening and took great pride in her backyard, where she even managed to grow cotton. She was especially proud of her years volunteering in the book room at Holy Redeemer Thrift Store, where she met her best friend, Earl. Above all, one of her greatest passions was reading. She was an avid reader who could go through as many as 400 books a year, and she maintained this love well into her 90s.

Her memory is our blessing. She will be missed. The legacy she has left on our lives and hearts will be with us forever.
