AUDREY FREBOWITZ APPEL

Audrey Frebowitz Appel peacefully passed away on September 22, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was a burst of life, always ready for the next adventure. Audrey spent her career as a Special Education teacher where she was able to make a genuine difference in many lives. Her love for people enabled her to bond with anyone she met. Audrey was blessed with two loving and successful marriages to Sherman Frebowitz and Jay Appel. Her children and stepchildren were very dear to her heart and she always let them know how much she valued and loved them. Audrey is survived by daughters, Pam Frebowitz and Mindi Vogel, as well as Craig and Denise Appel and Stacey and Alan Brason. Bubby was so proud of her grandchildren, Shaun, Spencer, Jessica, Matthew, Jordyn and Daniel whom she followed to numerous sporting events, concerts, recitals, graduations and milestones. Audrey loved her family, friends, students, sports, dancing, music, the beach, jewelry, sunsets and rainbows. She appreciated life with a positivity that never faltered, even through the very end. This world lost a beautiful light that will shine from above forever more. Anyone who knew Audrey will remember her with fond and "humorous" memories. Funeral services will be Friday, September 24, 2021, at Shalom Memorial Park at 1pm. Donations to honor her wonderful life can be directed to the following:
