Arnold Escourt

Arnold Escourt, Ph.D. February 25, 2025, at the age of 90. Husband of Florence Escourt (nee Berue), z"l, and beloved father of Natalie Spivak (Rabbi Harvey), Mindy Blechman (Steve), Bonnie Rosen (Howard). Devoted grandfather of Elana Spivak (Bryan Doughty), Dr. Talya Spivak (Neil Ferris), Dana and Ben Blechman and Rachel and Gil Rosen. Survived by sister Irene Reisbord. Cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Arnold earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He worked for the Philadelphia school system for over 35 years as a teacher and researcher. He also had a second career in antiques and was a long-time dealer at Renninger's. He was a prolific writer of poems and stories, which he shared with friends and family, and was a life-long learner.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Jewish charity of the donor's choice.
