CAPLIN
ARLENE BARBARA (nee Leonard), of Richboro, PA, passed away on December 25, 2015 at the age of 76 after a prolonged battle with cancer. She took the fight with a completely positive attitude, continuing to live life and play tennis with her "tennis ladies" through 2 surgeries, three rounds of chemo, and a trial biologic therapy. Born on July 11th in Germantown to the late Sam and Betty Leonard, and sister of Phyllis Englander, Arlene grew up and found the love of her life, Richard, who survives her. They were married for a wonderful 55 years. Family was central to Arlene, and she was the loving mother of Ken (Nancy), Larry (Kelli) and Keith, and the devoted grandmother to Jason (Emily), Brittany, Zachary, Mason, Logan and Julianna. She was also a strong dog lover and proud mother and grand-mother of many dogs. Her life was dedicated to caring about, and for, all that was in her world. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Sunday 2:30 P.M. precisely at Shalom Memorial Park (sec. Jacob II), Huntingdon Valley. Shiva will be observed through Tuesday evening at the residence of Ken and Nancy Caplin. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to CF Charities, which is a family charity that she was proud to be a part of,
