Annie Beatrice Bond was born on November 23, 1954 in Philadelphia Hospital to Benjamin Moore and Annie Bertha Bond. In her early years, Annie grew up in North Philadelphia, where she attended strawberry mansion, high school, living close to her aunts, uncles and cousins. Being an only child didn’t lack wonderment for Annie, as she also had a pet duck to keep her company.

Later, her mother Annie met Otto Kershaw of New York. The couple married, and Otto would raise Annie as his own daughter. The family moved to Wynnefield, where Annie went on to attend and graduate from Overbrook high school. As the daughter of a private detective and head of security at the local radio station WDAS, Annie’s youth was filled with music and she prided herself in having attended every earth, wind, and fire concert.

As a young woman, Annie worked at the Marriott hotel where she met Robert Wortham. The two fell in love and became the parents of twin girls Ottrina and Ottreya, named after her dad Otto. Annie later became employed with the state of Pennsylvania working at the Haverford State Hospital and subsequently Norristown State Hospital as a psychiatric nurse aide. Annie was a hard worker and even earned college credits advancing her position while raising her children. Annie became a mother again and had a son named Aaron.

Though she would often say her children were the loves of her life, Annie was well-rounded and enjoyed collecting art, cooking, good music and taking walks to stay fit. She loved to laugh yet carried a burden for the less fortunate, feeding the homeless, and was deeply committed to charities that benefited starving and underprivileged children.

She leaves to mourn her children; Ottrina Bond-Davis, Ottreya Bond, Aaron Bond, and a son-in-law Michael Davis. Her grandchildren Sianni Jean-Baptiste, Jaden Jean-Baptiste, Morgan Davis and Harrison Davis. A long time friend Robert Caldwell and a host of godchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
