Anita Joan Robinson

09/17/1945 – 10/08/23

Anita passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her sister Dr. Beverly Emanuel, brother Dr. Arnold Willis and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her sons Craig and Glenn Robinson and their wives Betsy and Cindy. Anita was affectionally called “granny” by her 4 grandchildren, Alexandra, Joshua, Haley, and Amanda.

A lover of the arts, in fact an artist herself, a member of Beth El Synagogue and their sisterhood, a mentor within AVODA, art goes to school, Brith Shalom, Golda Miur Hadassah, a laughter leader, Margate Recreation Center and a member of her mediation group.

Anita was a retired guidance counselor for 37 years in the Phila. School District. Too many friends and family to mention. She went to every family function and holiday gatherings which gave her great joy. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Coleman Jay Robinson, thanks to all her wonderful caregivers who saw to it that she remained comfortable in her beautiful Margate condo.

In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to “AVODA” in her memory. There will be a celebration of life that will follow at a later date.

Donations to AVODA can be sent to Lois Dubin, 9600 Atlantic Ave. Apt. 1012 Margate, NJ 08402
