Anita Lazarus (nee Beck), 92, of Fanwood, N.J., died Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Philadelphia. Graveside services will be conducted at Gomel Chesed Cemetery in Newark, N.J., at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. Visit
www.goldsteinsfuneral.com. Born in Montreal, Anita lived in Hillside, N.J., for many years before moving to Fanwood in 2002. She was a great lover of classical music and all of the arts and supported many charitable causes. She worked as a book-keeper at numerous local companies before retiring in 1990. Mrs. Lazarus was a volunteer at Trinitas Regional Medical Center and a member of Hadassah of Elizabeth, N.J., and the senior programs at JCC of Central New Jersey. She is survived by a daughter, Della, and husband Russell of Philadelphia; son David and wife Cindy of Fanwood, and grandchildren, Jaclyn, Sarah, Eric and Max, and a half-sister, Dr. Ellen Beck of San Diego.
