Allison S. Balibar (nee Lipper) beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away at her home on December 26, 2024. Though only 41 years old, Allison lived a fulfilling life brimming with adventure, happiness, and love. 

Allison is survived by her devoted husband Carl, adoring children Miles and Aaron, loving parents Jacqueline and Jay Lipper, and dear brother Elliott Lipper. Allison was tremendously dedicated to her children and was so proud to see the amazing personalities and great character they were developing. She was adamant about making wonderful memories with her family that would be forever cherished.

Allison obtained a Bachelors of Science and Engineering (BSE) from Tulane University and a Masters of Prosthetics and Orthotics (MPO) from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Between degrees, Allison served over two years in the Peace Corps working as a teacher in Malawi, Africa. 

Throughout her life, Allison moved to various places, and in each location, she formed meaningful, lasting friendships. She took the opportunity on her drives to and from work to have deep conversations with friends and maintain those treasured long-distance relationships. She was an avid reader, gymnastics enthusiast, knitter, and quilter. She expressed care and thoughtfulness through the gifts she made for her friends.
