ALLEN ARTHUR, 83, of Langhorne, a retired attorney, died January 16, 2013, at his residence in Delray Beach, Florida. A native of Philadelphia, he was the son of Morris and Rose (Mayer) Pechter and the brother of Ira "Buddy" Pechter. He graduated from Central High School (1947), Temple University and Temple University Law School (1960). A long-time resident of Levittown, he served as Middletown Township solicitor, was a member of Temple Shalom and was active in B'nai B'rith and community affairs for many years. He is predeceased by his parents, his
brother and his beloved wife of 53 years, Dorothy (Stefano) Pechter. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Andrew and Carol Markowitz of Setauket, NY, son and daughter-in-law Kerry and Lisa (Higgins) Pechter of Emmaus, PA, son and daughter in-law David Pechter and Jean Baxter, of Ewing, NJ. Surviving grandchildren include Kieran Pechter, Rhea Pechter (spouse of Peter Kaloroumakis), Michael Pechter, Sara Markowitz, Jane Markowitz, Hannah Pechter, Ariel Pechter and Mattea Pechter, and a great-grandson, Leo Kaloroumakis. A memorial service is scheduled for 3 P.M. Sunday, January 20, 2013, at GOLDSTEIN'S ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 2nd St. Pike, Southampton.
