Allan Isaac Nappen , 55, of Blue Bell, PA passed away surrounded by family on January 12, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Beloved husband of Julie (nee Scheidt); loving father of Wesley, Brandon and Colby Nappen; son of Madeline Hankin Nappen and the late Robert W. Nappen, brother of Dara Nappen King; son-in-law of Generose Scheidt; brother-in-law of Ellen Scheidt and loved by many including his niece and nephews,  cousins, friends, employees/associates and contractors.  

Allan was born in Philadelphia to his parents Robert and Madeline in 1968.  At an early age he showed passion for business when he opened his lawn care service.  The business continued while at college under his management.  After Allan graduated, he joined the family industrial real estate development company and auto dealership businesses, working closely with his father.  His sister and two oldest sons worked with him in the family businesses and will continue to do so in his absence.

Allan was a graduate of The George Washington University where he obtained his BBA in 1991 and his MBA in 1993. While at The George Washington University, Allan was inducted as a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. Allan is also a 1997 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law-Camden where he attained his Juris Doctor. Allan was a member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and American Bar Associations. Additionally, Allan was a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania and acted as Broker of Record and President of an affiliated company, Nappen Realty Services, Inc. 

Allan met his wife Julie in high school and they had been married for 28 years. Allan loved family time and combined them with his passion for cars, Lego’s and traveling. Allan and his family had a passion for Disney and regularly traveled to Walt Disney World and voyaged on numerous Disney cruises. In his free time, Allan could be found building Lego’s, watching movies at home with his family and reading up on the latest automotive news. 

Please join us at Shiva to share your stories of love, respect and laughter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club, Magen David Adom, or Congregation Beth Or.   

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Congregation Beth Or,  239 Welsh Road, Ambler, PA 19002. Internment will immediately follow services at Montefiore Cemetery. Shiva to follow at Madeline Nappen’s home on Wednesday at approximately 5:00 pm and Thursday after 12:00 pm. Friends may also visit at Madeline’s home on Friday, January 20, 2024 between 12:00 and 3:00 PM.
