ALBERT GOLDIS. Born Aug. 27, 1918. Son of Samuel and Gussie Goldis. Beloved husband of Ethel Goldis; father of the late Gary Goldis, Stuart and Michael Goldis. Grandfather of Edward Goldis, Jeffrey Goldis, Melissa Matyas (nee Goldis), Staci Goldis, Harley Goldis and Jessie Goldis.
Al grew up in the Logan section of Philadelphia and attended Gratz High School. He graduat-ed from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 1940. He operated pharmacies in Wynnefield , on Ogontz Ave., and last in Maple Glen until he retired.
Services will be held at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St., on Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. precisely. Interment will be at Shalom Memorial Park. The family and friends will return to his late residence where Shiva will be observed. Contributions can me made in Al's honor to the Haddassah Research Hospital of Israel.
