Alan J. Horwitz, 95, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2024. Devoted husband of the late Dr. Ruth Horwitz (nee Kafrissen). Beloved father of Abby (Edward) Birk and Robert (Shira) Horwitz. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday 11:30 AM precisely at GOLDSTEINS’ ROSENBERG’S RAPHAEL-SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 2^nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Following interment, Shiva will be observed at the Baker's Bay Clubhouse, 5100 S. Convent Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Shiva will be observed at the home of Abby Birk on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (1-4 PM & 6:30- 8 PM) and Friday (1-3 PM). Shiva will also be held at the home of Robert Horwitz on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Morning.
