ALAN, May 12, 2004, at age 52, died from complications of diabetes. He was the third generation proprietor of Blackman Beauty and Barber Supplies of Logan. He retired to Rittenhouse Square 4½ years ago for health reasons. Son of Dorothy (nee Sobel), and the late Morris Blackman, brother of Eileen (Robert A.) Cooper, and Jill Blackman, uncle of Adam B. Cooper. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services Friday 10:30 A.M. precisely at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Int. Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Dorothy Blackman, Wyncote. The family suggests contributions in his memory may be made to the Montgomery County Association for the Blind, 212 N. Main St., North Wales, PA 19454.
