Adam Ross Sklar

Adam Ross Sklar passed away on December 9, 2025. He made it his mission to accomplish the things that he was told he would never be able to achieve, always with a smile on his face. Adam was a testament to what people with disablities can accomplish given the opportunity. Adam redefined what it meant to live every moment with joy and happiness regardless of the challenges that he faced. Son of Mitchell and Staci (nee Perchick). Brother of Joshua and Garrett Sklar. Grandson of the late Sandra Perchick, the late Bart Sklar, Mort (Joy) Perchick and Judith Sklar. Nephew of the late Danny Perchick, Amy Perchick, Paul (Jackie) Sklar, and Heather (Steve) Woods. Also survived by Michael, Scott, Jody and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North, at 9:30 AM precisely. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park. For those unable to attend services, a livestream is available here. Family to begin receiving guests at 8:45AM. Shiva will be observed at the home of Mitchell and Staci Sklar following services, Friday 10:00 AM – 3:00PM , Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM, and Sunday beginning at 10:00 AM. Contributions in his memory may be made to The Prader – Willi Snydrome, The Next Step, The Friendship Circle or to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
