AARON, 91, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016. He was the son of the late Rebecca and David Becker, and was predeceased by his wife, Shirley K. Becker, and by his two sisters, Lilyan Cantor and Minerva Slutzky. He is survived by his older brother Paul Becker, daughter Cheri Berman (Lee), and sons Gary N. Becker (Susan) and Robert S. Becker (Janine). Mr. Becker is also survived by 7 grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren. A graduate of West Philadelphia High School, he had many jobs in his lifetime, including auto refinancing, insurance, tele-marketing as well as co-owning (with his wife) a T Shirts Plus franchise. However Aaron's true love (besides his wife) was being a restauranteur. He co-owned Becker's Place, the Jade Tiki Inn, and The Three Mile House in Lancaster. Always one to tell a joke, he was happiest when he would greet his customers and make them feel welcome with a joke or a story. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Army in Japan and the Philippines and was once shot in the helmet by friendly fire. Aaron was an avid Eagles fan, and was a season ticket holder for 65 seasons. A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Sharon Cemetery, 502 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, Pa. 19064 on Monday, June 13th at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broomall Presbyterian Village, 146 Marple Rd., Broomall, Pa. 19008.
